Haceldama – Wrathrone

Black Metal played with a fast and angry intent – that’ll be Haceldama then! It’s that simple. It stands out from the pack thanks to their whirlwind, no prisoners attitude.
Featuring fast intense riffage from both lead and bass guitars, with the percussion to match and some grotty vocals this 5 track EP has been getting serious playtime on the Waffen death deck this month. Firing their salvo from the Dominican Republic in a short sharp burst of 15 minutes, Haceldama display a self-confident tightness more commonly found in long established groups.
Parts of it remind me of early Abigor as they plunge at frightening velocity into some monstrously berserk sections. Sound like just a load of noise and feedback? Think again because there is surprising clarity in the production and well thought out tuneful guitaring from beginning to end. They make a shit load of noise for a 3 piece.

Mid paced, it stamps away with the precision of a well oiled Black Metal machine [...]
