Oulanem – Absolute Persönlichkeit
Raging South American Black Metal hatred! Like fellow Chilean band Maledictum, Oulanem create violent Black Metal which is fast, angry and unrelenting (vocalist Misanthrope and drummer Violento are both session musicians on Maledictum’s Inhumana Muerte Negra).
I’m sure this album would be worthy of a full review, if only I could find somewhere to buy it. So far I can’t track down any website that even lists Absolute Persönlichkeit and I’ve had no response from the band about it either… So please tell us if you’ve seen the album anywhere (the two MySpace tracks are listed as 2007, but maybe it’s not even released yet?)
Also check out the three 2007 promo tracks too. I hope these are on the album, as they’re brutal as fuck!

Opening with a song title of the length Bal Sagoth would be proud of (thankfully that’s as the only comparison to draw), the imaginatively titled ‘A Glimpse of the Image of Lucifer Gleaming Beyond the Subterraneous Black Sun’ marches forth.
